    1. This seems to be the start to a really interesting story… emphasis on the word seems. The reason I say seems is this series started in 1986 and is currently STILL not finished at 113 volumes. And while I really enjoyed this first volume and definitely want to read more, I am very skeptical that this series can hold my attention for that long. With so many volumes, I have no doubts it’ll quickly fall into a rut and it’ll end up being the same thing over and over again (most likely JoJo and [...]

    2. JOJO = meh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Boys own adventure, rugby, boxing and English manor houses? No reason for the animosity between JoJo and Dio, no reason for anything in the entire series really, especially the oversized male toons and brutalised, marginalised and toy like females.Overrated, boring and irrelevant. This manga is so so bad that I can easily see myself investing in lighter fluid and burning it.By giving JOJO'S BIZARRE ADEVNTURE one star I mean only one thing, it is totally and completely cra [...]

    5. Read this review and more at The Bohemian Housewife BlogI'm going to be on a manga/graphic novel kick for a while. I'm checking off all the series I have on my list, and there are a LOT of them. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is one of my husband's favorite animes; Me being me, I had to read the manga first, even though I know they're probably pretty similar. I've seen the first few episodes and I have to agree with their similarities. The first volume doesn't really get deep into what is going to hap [...]

    7. Masih awal, masih akan lanjut.Katanya part 1 memang perkenalan. Bara (manusia berotot) di mana-mana.Yah, tahun terbitnya saja 80-an volume pertama. Saya belum lahir :")

    8. So I have been pretty down on Manga and Manwha. I just haven't found anything recently that I have loved. Ok, besides some very adult stuff, I have pretty much hated everything I have read Manga-wise, especially Shonen. But then a kid recommended this, ok, he wasn't a kid, but he used to be, a few years ago anyway. He didn't warn me of all the awesome! Vampires, spirit warriors, and a very strange journey that includes ass-kicking, bugs that eat tongues, and so much more. Most of what I hate about [...]

    9. First of all, the book I read isn't listed yet because I read an early-release review copy - it's the first Phantom Blood book. And wow, was this book crazy! It's masculine enough to put hair on the most feminine of chests, features the world's burliest twelve-year-olds in the first half, and doesn't skimp on the fight scene violence. It also has some very upsetting animal cruelty, and if I wasn't reading the book for work, I admit that I would have put it down after Dio punched the dog. (It get [...]

    10. A story about a man, named Jotaro, that thinks he's possessed by an evil spirit that ends up being a stand, a manifestation of his spirit that uses special powers. Jotaro joins up with his grandfather and a few others that all have stands as well. Each stand is different and unique for the person that controls it. Jotaro has to journey to Egypt while fighting off other enemies to kill a vampire named DIO. I highly recommend this manga to anyone that is looking for something different with a funn [...]

    11. This wasn't bad; it's just not the type of series that's my cup of tea. I picked it up because I was curious about it's cult appeal. Everything is supposed to be campy and intentionally over-the-top to be funny, so if that's *your* thing, you'll probably enjoy it. The art is good, though dated, since it's a n older series. I don't really like either of the main characters, and, since I didn't really enjoy the camp, I just found it silly that the two guys were beefcakes made for slash.

    12. My favorite arc so far besides Vento Aureo's, Joseph Joestar still being one of my favorites, along with the characters that gain your symphaty and develop a bond with, and they are took off so out of the sudden, you have nothing left. But even like that, is one of the best stories, at times the story slowes itself by detailing (or not)certain situations.

    13. This series is a weird one, but a good read nonetheless. The third part in the series. The group (consisting of Jotaro Kujo, Kakyoin Noriaki, Joseph Joestar, Muhammad Avdul, and Jean Pierre Polneraff) race off to Egypt to stop the evil vampire DIO. They use "stands", or physical manifestations of psychological energy, to fight their battles. It's really really good.

    14. The all powerful, immortal villain Dio battles the Jostar family for a century of their generation. The feud was started by Dio, who wanted to inherit the fortune of the Jostar when he was a mortal during the 19th century. Each of the Jostar family must participate on a journey in order to stop Dio from his evil intentions.

    17. It's strange to look back on the first series within JoJo's Bizarre adventure. Nearly all elements of the style were different or just developing. In this stage, it's more an imitation of old school shonen than the unique series it would spawn.

    18. This series is a guilty pleasure of mine. One of the longest running series in the history of Japan (it stands at over 90 volumes and counting), it combines some light modern fantasy and fairly strong horror elements. The striking visuals and campy-yet-enjoyable writing I find lots of fun.

    19. So far the book and the show match up almost perfectly. I usually like to see manga have a bit of extra storyline in them. The intro was a bit different though, that I did appreciate.

    20. Only I am charmed with it jotaro am of the best and his stand is star platinum the best part of all the jojos books i dont care I love it <3

    21. the version i read is a different one, but this is one of the most boring manga stories I have ever read. I hope the story picks up in the following issues.

    22. Even 'tho this is just Stardust Crusaders I've been reading the whole series and I could say I really Like Jojo's Bizarre adventure, specially Battle Tendency :)
