    1. Really enjoyable and empowering. Full of excellent, immediately useful advice and written in a fun, engaging style.

    2. Overall a great introductory book about finances, how to spend and save smart. I like how it included a section about how to teach kids about money, cause it mentions that we should allocate money for giving too. I especially enjoyed the section about why being green (environmental) is saving green. Karp mentioned some great ideas like buying used cars, because new cars depreciate about 30% in 1 year! I learned more about retirement savings, 529 college savings account, and investment, but still [...]

    3. This book by a personal finance columnist has lots of up-to-date information on strategies for saving money. It is filled with suggestions of helpful websites and other resources. Karp lists his top 3 tips for saving in various spending categories. I thought the weakest section was on investing strategies. Given the current shaky state of the economy, I felt that his advice was too simplistic (e.g invest in index funds, don't pay too much attention to your investments). Even so, it's a very help [...]

    4. I got this for free from an promotion, and it was worth about what I paid for it. I dunno, maybe I'm being too harsh- it's not that it's bad advice, but it's the same advice that you get from any financial advice book or website ever. It may also just be that this book isn't aimed at me- it's aimed at 30-40 somethings who have been in one career long enough to have a 401K, not job-hopping 20-somethings who don't even have health insurance. Eh.

    5. Excellent book! It covers almost everything that you could think of to help you regain control of your life and finances. The book is easy to follow and the ideas are easy to use and put into action. I have already tried many of the suggestions mentioned in this book and I found them to work extremely well and I’m sure that the other ideas will work just as well. Thank you Gregory for putting together a fun and fact filled guide to better all of our money situations.

    6. I got this as a free Kindle download, and it was a pretty good book. If I weren't already such a frugal person, I would have probably learned a lot more from this book. It is very simplistic, as it is meant to be. Some of the things in it have changed since the writing and are no longer true, but for the most part lots of good advice for those struggling.

    7. This was a free kindle download that i started reading on a whim and ended up finishing very quickly. Nothing super exciting, refreshing, or different than other money books, but I did like the many many websites he included coupon sites, free product review sites, the best high yield savings accounts, etc. Found myself bookmarking a lot of pages of links to come back to.

    8. fairly user friendly, lots of compact highlight boxes, so if you are skimming a particular section you get the point and then read if you need to know more. I definitely got my times worth of tips out of it.

    9. I'm pretty frugal (to say the least) and listen to Clark Howard a lot. However, I was able to get a couple of tips from the book (opt of credit offers being the most important).Book is an easy and worthwhile read.

    10. I downloaded this to my Kindle free from . Karp provided the normal frugal advice. The most useful part for me was learning about useful websites that I had not previously seen. Definitely worth the price. :)

    11. A bit of a slog. Most of the advice is so obvious and ordinary, and I couldn't wade through enough of it to find out if there was anything original and interesting hidden inside.

    12. Very knowledgeable, nice book to read if you want to know about money or how to manage your monies or how to get out of debt

    13. Very basic read. I would recommend this for recent college grads and for people just starting to get a hand on their finances.

    14. Overall information about estate planning, durable power of attorney, and insurance and how it can affect your life.

    15. I found this book to be very informative, straight forward explanations, nothing over the top. Just good basic information.

    16. Super helpful, concise, to-the-point. Just what you can use if you're like me and don't particularly like or know much about money.
