    1. La traducció de Joan Mascaró ha estat , des del principi considerada una obra mestra. El llibre en si és una meravella en el contingut i en la forma de relatar el debat interior que tot ésser humà porta dintre seu.

    2. Despite the cover of the book was different as the cover showed in the website, the book was in good conditions and I received it in the expected timing. I highly recommend this seller.

    5. Reaching into our souls this timeless work from thousands of years ago makes us remember who we truly are and shows us the way to awake from suffering. The path to freedom could be made plainer or simpler. Every line causes one to pause to sink into the blissful words.

    6. I own two copies of the Bhagavad Gita. I enjoy this one more. I enjoy it more because of the intoduction which is basically college lecture or essay. You do not have to read the introduction to enjoy this book (as I enjoy my other copy which has no introduction) but, it adds to the reading of it by adding context and a clearer explanation of this translation.

    7. A fantastic dialogue between a warrior prince (Arjuna) and God incarnate (Kishna) about fighting the good fight; right action, refusal of selfishness from motive by performing duties to our true Self, not ourselves. One of the great books of Vedanta philosophy, Mahatma Gandhi referred to is as "the book par excellence for the seeker of Truth" in his autobiography. This translation by Sir Edwin Arnold from the Sanskrit into traditional English-type prose is considered by many to be the best transl [...]

    8. This is a powerful, transforming book. I have read it about 4 times. It has taught me much about stilling my mind and heart. This may well be my favorite book ever. I have written many of its passages on cards and meditate on them frequently for peace and for helping me to draw close to God. Much of it has truly become a part of me. Much of who I am spiritually I owe to the Gita.As for this translation, I have tried about 3 other translations. Now I'm glad I read Mascaro's translation first, bec [...]

    9. the original print edition from penguin that i have is by don juan mascarospite the change in author; the text remains the sames a classicgo for itr indians though, words like "spirit" is used instead of "atman" brings a bit of alienation while reading has no commentary; so repeated readings shall bring to the reader a deeper understanding of god's words instead of relying on someone else's interpretation.buy its worth it.
