    2. Very cute---lots of interesting facts, and weirdly enough, Ms. Berenbaum's sense of humor reminded me of the way Kathy Reichs uses humor in her Temperance Brennan books. Is there some kind ofass that scientists take about that kind of thing? I need to read more nonfiction, I found it oddly comforting and nice to have a book with cited articles/books that I could look up in the "References" section in the back.I also thought that the author's clear love and defensiveness about insects was adorabl [...]


    3. Fun, quick read--Berenbaum has a dry sense of humor and the modern legends she tackles hit surprisingly close to home. You may find, like me, that some of your bug beliefs are completely wrong (and be glad of it)!


    4. Picked up on a whim from the new books shelf at Steenbock. Cute, even educational, but pretty inconsequential. I did learn about trap-jaw ants, which was probably worth it right there.
