    1. So much of a series hangs on the ending. In many ways, it doesn't matter how good a series is if the ending doesn't fit properly. This is one of the things that makes Sandman such a stand-out success. Not just that it *has* an ending. Not just that the ending is *good.* But that it has an ending that is as near to perfect as an ending can be. An ending that you read and think, "Oh yes. Of course." And even if you wish it might have gone a little different, you know deep in your heart it had to b [...]

    2. What a ride that was! I did not except to love this series as much as I did, and be sad that it ended, as much as I am.The finale was just as epic as i excepted. It wrapped things up perfectly. And the ending was so bittersweet, but when I think about it, I wouldn't change a thing. In conclusion, amazing series, and I would recommend it to anyone who is into graphic novels.

    3. This is a review of all nine volumes of Bone.I'm not as wild about this series as some people seem to be.While the artwork is spectacular, the story takes forever to arrive at what I thought was a rather unsatisfying conclusion. Too many of the books featured the main characters being chased over hill and dale by one manner of large scary creature or another. I know that sometimes the journey is more important than the destination, but to meey just kept wagon training. So three-stars from me. I' [...]

    4. This is a series that grew tremendously from the first volume. At first, it felt like a very light, jokey comic, and I wasn't really into it. But as the story went on, it became much deeper and a good bit darker. By the end of this volume, this was an epic fantasy that can rightfully draw comparisons to Lord of the Rings. It was pretty cool to see it grow, and so naturally.

    5. Smrk gotovo je. Predivan serijal.

    6. When I began this series, I tried to write a review of each volume. I had to give that up because the beginning of the series is like a completely different animal than the end and I was feeling frustrated, but now that I've really finished, I feel I have to say something.I'm not a traditional comic reader. I prefer more adult titles, and especially those that have a beginning , middle and end. Those that can be collected and you don't need to search out titles from the 30s to get the right feel [...]

    7. Since this is the last volume, this is a review of the series overall. I really enjoyed it! It was funny and full of excitement, employing just enough fantasy tropes to keep the story on the track, but with enough originality, humor, and flair to be its own thing. The characters are constructed slowly, over the course of storylines, so that by the time the ending comes, you’re wholly invested in what’s happening. As such, Bone is greater than the sum of its parts, and as a cohesive comic boo [...]

Jeff Smith’i herkes geri çeviriyor.

    9. Awww, the ending wasn't super-special-happy! Serious sniffles for Lucius. It's kind of funny. Smith really did set it up so that there didn't appear to be a win-win situation - I was really hoping the Bone cousins wouldn't split up, but also that Fone Bone wouldn't have to leave Thorn, but also that Phoney and Smiley would be happy (though I think Smiley would be happy anywhere). It seemed more obvious to have them stay; Thorn HAS to, and Fone Bone is in love with her, whereas nobody HAS to go ba [...]

    11. Brilliant series. It came recommended from a friend, and in all honesty I thought I'd at best like it, at worst have to hedge about hating it, but it was genuinely one of the most enjoyable things I've read since the beginning of this term.To begin with, the Bones are perfect. And hilarious. Like, guffaw-out-loud-in-the-middle-of-class-hilarious (not the best idea, really). Smiley is so adorable I want to adopt him, Fone Bone grows on you despite his righteousness, and even annoying Phoney Bone [...]

    12. My God, what a let down. Looking at the reviews of this book, I must be the only one who thought the final battle and the ending were awful. There's so much to dig into, but mostly:1. Lucius dies without any real explanation. There were some questions about his loyalty that were never truly addressed. Perhaps the prequel will explore them. (And did anyone else notice that his crutches were magically gone in the final battle?)2. The entire final battle with Briar was anticlimactic and left a lot [...]

    13. A powerful, exciting finale to a most enjoyable series. Coming up to this last book I had some trepidation. Would it be worth the journey? Would it be a satisfying end? I can wholeheartedly say yes to both those questions. First off we are presented with a nice fat volume considerably larger than previous volumes, letting us know we can settle down for a good read. Action-packed, with a conclusion worthy of the eight previous volumes it took to get here. All major characters have their fates det [...]

    14. Reason for Reading: next and last in the series.A powerful, exciting finale to a most enjoyable series. Coming up to this last book I had some trepidation. Would it be worth the journey? Would it be a satisfying end? I can wholeheartedly say yes to both those questions. First off we are presented with a nice fat volume considerably larger than previous volumes, letting us know we can settle down for a good read. 15. This book was about a bone creature and a girl named thorn save the whole village from these evil circles called ghost circles. Thorn has the locust in her and a bone creature helps her through all the way to the crown of horns. When Thorn touched bone he got the locust in him too. When they touched the Crown Of Horns everything goes back to noramal.

    16. Tore through this final book of the series. Everything wrapped up nicely. Great humor that has been a cornerstone of the series is still present. By far the most action of all the Bone books. All characters from past books made an appearance. Fun stuff.I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys graphic novels with a touch of fantasy. Maybe a tad more than a touch, like a heavy pet of fantasy.

    18. I'm like never see big dragon died going sleep hold with dragon all many in rock whole? There our win his queen nice place reason live with you no one!

    19. There are a few parts I would nitpick a little, but overall this is a great ending to a great story. This is as epic a tale as any I've ever read; there are dragons, monsters, talking animals and bugs, queens, princesses, mystical warriors, ancient evil, love, humor, betrayal and TREASURE! Every volume became more and more of a page turner, more and more intense, more and more engaging, more and more enjoyable, but I can still only give it 4 stars overall. I think the one thing that held back th [...]

    20. And thus I end one of the greatest sequential art series I have ever read. It wasn't perfect. I wanted so badly for it to be perfect. And it was close, oh was it close! Every page building up to the climax was gold. The climax was golden as well. So suspenseful, played out brilliantly in a page by page, beat by beat manner. One of the only things, if not the only thing, comics has over prose novels is that you can pace your action and revelations in a page to page manner that would be very, very [...]

    21. The first time I'd heard about the Bone cousins was in the back pages of Dave Sim's Cerebus. There was a short preview and it immediately drew me in. The art was simple yet clean, it reminded me alot of Walt Kelley's Pogo, and the story content actually got a chuckle. At that time, Bone was just starting out and had maybe 4 issues of the regular comic printed out on the market. I chased them down and read them in a single sitting I was hooked!I've read all the Bone monthlies and later bought the [...]

    22. Bone, Volume 9: Crown of Horns, by Jeff Smith was a fascinating read that served as the conclusion of the Bone series. In this volume, a full-fledged war ensues as Briar, the rat creatures and the Pawan army invade the city of Atheia, the royal city. In order to defend their beloved city, Fone Bone and Thorn embark on an epic quest in search of the Crown of Horns, which they considered to be their last hope in winning the battle. The book, which is 212 pages in total, was fast-paced, action pack [...]

    23. The Crown OF Horns was a really good book. It was about this girl named Thorn and a little Bone guy named Bone. And they go off to find the Crown Of Horns. Back at the village they had a war going on against the Rat Creatures. When they find the Crown of Horns Thorn got bit by a Rat Creature. When she got out of the Rat Creatures jaws they touched the stone and had to go because they woke up the dragons. They finally made it back to the village and Thorn became the queen of the village and Bone [...]

    24. Book nine of the Bone graphic novel series, this is the indispensable final chapter. I don’t know what kind of creature Fone Bone is, but he stumbles into high fantasy when he gets lost in the woods on the way to Boneville, and meets rat creatures, princesses in exile, and even dragons. It all culminates here, with the rat creatures massing for war, and a kingdom to retake. Highly recommended, each book is a chapter in the overall story, and you’d better own all of them! For ages 10 and up.Wa [...]

    25. Crown of Horns is about trapped in a dungeon while the fate of the Valley is decided by two raging armies, Thorn is haunted by the dangerous and mysterious object of power known as the Crown of Horns. Guarded by dragons, the Crown of Horns is the only thing that can stop the Locust and end the war. But there is a problem. They don't know how they can defeat Locust but Fone Bone believes he knows the answer.

    26. A bittersweet ending, resolution for all the characters involved, epic and funny intertwined, and tough choices for everyone involved. Which all comes together to make an appropriate ending to a great series. My son and I were both satisfied, and enjoyed this several month journey together. He even said, "let's read it again!" I'm hoping to wait until his brother is old enough to listen too. I still like the quiche rat creatures the best.

    27. In this book the evil locust are attacking the kingdom. Throne and Fone bone are trying to fined the horn of crowns to stop them. Will they fined it or will the kingdom go down in flames. Throne is the rightful queen but she dose not know that. Bone is in love with Throne so he will protect her. I think the book is both funny and awesome.

    28. This book is cool and shows great action. This book is about a girl named thorn and a creature named fone bone who were in a dungeon they try to get out so they can help stop the war. Phoney bone and smiley were able to find the treasure then thorn and fone bone escaped and went to find the one thing that might save them all. I recommend this book to kids who like action books.

    29. This book is very, very good. It is full of action and it reveals lots of things. It also has a very good ending. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes the bone series or exciting graphic novels.
