    1. The Grace of God, The Will of Man by Clark Pinnock is a collection of articles defending the beliefs of Arminianism. Its purpose is to continue the theological debate between the Calvinists and the Arminians. As such it has no specific theses to review other than those general principles of Arminianism which uphold that God allows man to have free will, and salvation is a product of that choice. In fact, this collection of essays includes contradictory arguments, particularly in the area of God‚ [...]

    2. A good book if you want to understand the Arminian position and the critique of Calvinism, but as far as argumentation goes, it fails to deliver a defensible Arminian theology nor any substantial threat to Calvinism. After reading this book, I remain convinced that Arminianism is exegetically weak. Arminianism does have good things to say regarding the love of God which Calvinists should take into account, but these positive points need to be set within the greater context of all of Scripture, a [...]

    3. I may be too stingy in my stars for this book. It is the book that drove me quickly to Calvinism. Not because it taught it, but because it made me see what could happen to God if Arminian thinking were carried out to its end. Since I love God, his omniscience, his omnipotence, and his omnipresence, this book was offensive in its view of him.

    4. An outdated critique of Calvinism. This volume would have done better to stick with more mainstream theologians. The inclusion of people from faiths further down the spectrum is fine by me, but it causes the more staunch proponents of Calvinism to equate any opposition to their views as heretical. What do you expect from Pinnock, though?
