    1. In a uniquely original plot premise Will Cross, the head of a major security company poses as a CIA chief looking for imaginative potential 9/11-type terrorist attacks from a small group of thriller writers in the interest of being proactive in defense of the homeland. Ian Ludlow, a successful screenwriter and thriller author suggests a "what if" scenario; terrorists hack the automatic pilot of a jetliner and crash it. Ian quickly forgets the meeting until three years later when a jetliner crash [...]

    2. Action packed and hilarious. This line says it all, “The books were about Michael Sang, an ex-priest turned assassin and restaurateur, who was an expert in all the martial, erotic, and culinary arts.” Don’t miss this witty, tongue in cheek page-turner.

    3. This was one of those books that was so intense I had to go to the back and start reading backwards. If you like intense thrillers, this is the book for you.

    4. OutstandingI hardly ever give a 5 Star rating. but this book deserves it. Well written and well thought out with believable characters and plots. Many twists and turns until the end keep you guessing until the end. Would recommend this book for anyone who loves an outstanding thriller. In case you don't believe in The New World Order/ The Illuminati I suggest you research them.

    5. While the plot wasn't completely original (think "Richard Castle" or the movie "True Memoirs of an International Assassin") I was pleasantly surprised by this 'author finds himself in the situation that he writes about' book. The story moved along nicely, the characters were engaging, and the ending was satisfying. I recommend this book.

    6. Highly credible fictionGiven the state of affairs in the world currently, there's not one concept in this book that I found unbelievable. It hurts to say that, frankly, because good fiction should be at least partially incredible. This IS good fiction, but all too credible.Well, except for the half man, half plant copFast pace, likeable and detestable characters, an all-too-believable plot and viola! A great story.

    7. worth every minute of my timeabsolutely enjoyed this story. The characters were fun and believable. good plot. the author balanced the pace and length of this book just right for me. I read it from start to finish while only briefly sitting my kindle down to refill my glass of wine. highly recommend!

    8. Chuckle-worthyAlmost self-aggrandizing, this story of an author bailing himself out of trouble by acting like one of his characters is a lot of fun to read. Nasty plots, curious characters, and improbable but inspired methods to deal with it all made for an enjoyable time.

    9. Worth the readFun, engaging, sometimes hilarious, surprising, and easy to enjoy. Goldberg has found a winning pastiche of alter ego eclectic goodness.

    10. Fun on the bunAn awesome, quick read for a boring afternoon. Highly recommended for it's humor and pacing. I loved it so much!

    11. Still smilingThis story is interesting and total fun to read. I wonder if Mr. Goldberg can top it with Book No. 2.

    12. Entertaining readIt moved quickly. It was funny and unpredictable. I'll look forward to the next one. I'll be looking got it.

    13. A very, very good story! It was fast moving, and hard to put down. Not really believable, but after all, it' fiction! I thoroughly enjoyed the twists and turns. I would highly recommend it. I look forward to reading the next one.

    14. Good ReadA good spy thriller, loaded with humor. I really enjoyed the story line, interjected with off beat chapters from the fictional super agent. Really quirky in parts, but that just added to the laughs.

    15. Fun to readReads like all the "conspiracy" stories that might or might not be true but with the added treat of a comic character, surprising twists and turns.

    16. Great spy story I loved ever word of it. Could have been pulled directly from reality. A conspiracy theorist will love this book

    17. Highly entertaining!Lee Goldberg is a highly imaginative, snappy writer.Once I started this, I couldn’t put it down. It’s fast paced, clever, funny and you both believe in and love the characters. Can’t wait for the next one!

    18. A real eye openerWow, fiction at its finest. Couldn't put this down, read in one day. Scary but believable. Easy to visualize each character.

    19. Amazing!Ian Ludlow is my hero and Margo and Ronnie are excellent team members. Great espionage story and imaginative plot. Great read.

    20. Mildly baffling. This is a quick, over the top, and somewhat amusing thriller. I am assuming the amusement factor was deliberate. A Blackwater-type security organization is setting up terrorist-like events in order to foster a climate of fear and convince the U.S. Government to give this organization the authority of the CIA. The organization had hired a group of creative folks to brainstorm terrorist plots, use one of the plots to great effect, and then go to town on eliminating the creative guy [...]

    21. True Fiction by Lee Goldberg is a rollicking conspiracy thriller you'll find difficult to put down. You will find some strong language and explicit sexual content but for the most part, this is a fun read. Ian Ludlow is a former TV writer and currently the author of the Clint Straker thrillers. A plane crash in Waikiki in the shadow of Diamondhead Volcano eerily resembles a scenario he manufactured several years earlier at a CIA gathering of authors. (At least that's what he thought it was at th [...]

    22. True Fiction: Ian Ludlow thriller #1.Ian's a writer, at a book signing, with his local escort, Margo, when all Hell breaks loose, a commercial airliner is deliberately crashed in Hawaii into a highly congested condo and hotel area, killing all in board and hundreds more on the ground. Ian's problem, he knows who is behind the act because he wrote it for the CIA years before. Now, he just had to figure out how he and Margo are going to stay alive! To do so, Margo convinced Ian to become Clint Ste [...]

    23. Scary and fascinating story! This thriller was a compelling page turner from the very beginning with fast moving, edge of your seat action ! That the government and others have eyes and ears on us with the technology available today makes this story plausible in an over the top way . Scary to think about! Anyone who enjoys a thriller with twists and turns, will love this book!

    24. Some truly extraneous sex stuff thrown in to a doomsday thriller in which Blackthorn Enterprises schemes to take over all the covert work of the C.I.A. They engineer a catastrophic plane crash into a Waikiki hotel with blame on an Islamic terrorist group. They are out to kill our hero, the suspense writer Ian Ludlow, who had imagined this plot 3 years earlier in a C.I.A. led focus group. Full of cliches. I did finish it, which says something.

    25. No spoiler review. As I first started reading this book I thought it was a little corny. But as I read on, I got into it more and more. The parts that I thought were corny at first turned out to very funny and full of satire. About halfway through the book, I couldn't put it down and I persevered to the end. Mr. Goldberg's experience writing for television shows in this novel. It's an action-packed, fun adventure. I highly recommend it for lovers of mystery, action, and Hollywood characters.

    26. Fast-pace, compelling storyline. While I had to put the book down to make meals, clean up or do something else, I couldn't wait to pick up the book again. I reviewed in my mind where I was in the story and what would happen next and before I knew it, I was reading again. I finished in a day and now look forward to reading another Lee Goldberg book.

    27. Great idea not so great executionI wouldn't call this a thriller, say too camp for that. The idea of the plot is intriguing but the writing is so disappointing. The characters are not developed and it's hard to care about any of them.I won't be looking forward to the next installment.

    28. Interesting premiseA thriller novelist becomes embroiled in a real life spy thriller. Good start to a new series. I am curious to read more. I'd like to see more character development. The characters seemed a little cartoonist and one dimensional but if there are future books I'm sure the author can fill in back stories and create more interest and depth. Fun quick read.

    29. What a Romp! When I saw this as one of ’s Prime First offerings, everything else packed by comparison. Reminiscent of David Rosenfelt’s Andy Carpenter series (without the dog and with much greater firepower) in self-deprecating, younger-in-cheek tone, the action was non-stop. A hoot!

    30. Man, I have never read a book about one innocent guy taking on a corporation full of bad guys. How original! Sarcasm aside, there’s nothing here that you have not read before. And it looks like there’s going to be a series of these books. In other words, the author is going to make as much money as he can with as little work as possible.
