    1. Thanks for enlightening me even further.Having met and observed Rolling Thunder a few times, I was interested in reading the accounts of others who had spent more time with him than I. He showed me that magic existed outside of technology. This book clarified what I had observed and heard from RT. I have a 50lb piece of obsidian in my living room. Now it scares me just a little bit. Thanks for this book Sidian.

    2. I had forgotten about Rolling Thunder. I had read an interview with him back in 1981 in Mother Earth News magazine. I was intrigued since I was interested in shamanism of different kinds at the time. Things happened, though, and I lost track of him. I was delighted to come across this new book with numerous interviews of people sharing their experiences around him. If you have any interest in contemporary shamans, this is a good place to start.

    3. In the context of this book, I'm one of the, "Others." Since I penned a chapter it would be self-aggrandizing to fawn over it. But I really dug it. And my favorite stories in it were those from Brian Wilkes. May I tease you a little about it with a clue? Life is a grand dream within a dream ;-)
