    1. Alex T. Smith is a rising star in children's books. The text is ideal for early readers, combining simple language with humour and page-turning entertainment. It is his skill in creating drama out of bright comedy that makes the book such a compulsive read.

    2. Completely delightful! Alex has an amazing way with words AND he's one of the best children's illustrators out there - Claude is a winning creation and I absolutely adored this story.

I wszystko byłoby pięknie i bezproblemowo - flesze, gratulacje i kwiat [...]

    4. This Claude book was just as cute as the rest of them. I kinda love how these books have little hidden gems for parents to find and chuckle about. Little do the kids know

    5. Sir Bobblysock is a hoot! (and so is Claude). A quick read, great for kids who like dancing, dogs, and a hint of mystery.

    6. Copy received from the publisherIn this sixth book in this British series, Claude, a rather roly poly dog who likes to wear a beret and has a sidekick called Sir Bobblysock (who is, in fact, a sock) happens upon a group of young dancers, follows them to their practice studio, and after getting a fly up his sweater that makes him dance maniacally around the room, is invited to enter a dance competition. He isn't too sure about this, but when he finds out that the prize is a a supply of cakes from [...]

    7. This United Kingdom import follows Claude, an adorable dog with an active life outside of his home, and his best friend Sir Bobblysock. After Claude's human companions, Mr. and Mrs. Shinyshoes, leave for their jobs, the two friends wander through town and meet up with a dance troupe. A fly starts to irritate Claude, and his movements to evade the pesky critter are misinterpreted as novel dance moves. Claude ends up joining the dances in a competition because the prize is goodies from a bakery. B [...]

    8. Claude is not your ordinary dog. He has special talents that come to life when he sets out with his best friend, Sir Bobblysock by his side. They decide to join a dance troupe and head to the theater to perform their act. They become involved in the legend of the haunted theater and must find out if it is true or not. I would recommend this for any collection owning other in the Claude series. The author does a great job of describing Claude and his best friend Sir Bobblysock. They are likeable [...]

    9. a fun chapter book with a charming, very French, very curious and inventive dog who likes to try new things and sometimes "messes up" or doesn't quite understand. Very child friendly. The illustrations, simple and clean help promote understanding and the fun of the story. It is a series and I think is very appealing.

    10. Claude and Sir Bobblysock are at it again. As soon as Mr. and Mrs. Shinyshoes leave for the day, the pals are off in search of adventure. This would also make a great read aloud, with kids helping to point out the many illustration details.

    11. So far this is my least favorite of the Claude books. The resolution is lacking with no resolution for the naughty man and the "you're awesome Claude please stay with me" was unrelated to Claude's unmasking of the ghost. Still a fun read though.

    12. When his owners, Mr. and Mrs. Shiny shoes leave for the day, Claude the dog and his sidekick, Sir Bobblysock go on adventures and solve mysteries. This is a humorousand quirky mystery series for children transitioning from Early Readers into chapter books.

    13. I just love the Claude books and Mr. Bobblysock. The whole series is so different and imaginative and most importantly they make me laugh.

    14. Simple story with simple black & red tone illustrations offer a substantial story. Claude and his sidekick, Sir Bobblysock foils the cheating, naughty man.
