    1. Although many readers have enjoyed the whole series, Book 2 was mainly chases by assassins and government officials with very little added about the artifact which is the major element of the story. Was a fabulous beginning of the series with Book 1, but the continuing saga was bogged down with too many monotonous and uninteresting chapters.

    2. Enjoyed the first book in this series (trilogy?). This book seemed to be just a 260 page chase sequence. Doubt I will spend the time reading the next one.

    3. After reading book one in the Cosega's series, I was excited to see how Rip and Gail were going to get away from the FBI, CIA, NSA and agents from the Vatican. If that's not enough intrigue for you, then you're just hard to please. In Cosega Storm Rip and Gail no longer know who to trust and the more they learn about the Eysen the less they understand. This book is filled with complex characters. relationships and the ending will leave you with your mouth hanging open. This is a great series and I [...]

    4. The second book in the Cosega Sequence series is as fascinating, fast-paced, action-filled and generally a read that is very difficult to put down. Ripley Gaines’ first elusive artifact keeps threatening its finder and the entire world alongside with him, as Gaines and Asher struggle against impossible odds, because to try to escape is just not enough. If they don't discover the links to the artifacts by trying to piece together the past and the mystery it reveals all may be lost. The choices [...]

    5. Wow! I couldn't put the 1st one down and I couldn't put this one down either. In this book 2, they were being chased more and didn't really have time to study the Eysen, but it was still fast-paced and exciting and it was nice to read more about Clastier. Can't wait to read book 3!!

    6. Ok I'm Caught! If you get this far in this series (only Book 2) then you'll know you're caught. I know I am. The writing is sharp and exciting. Who among us hasn't thought about ancient times and the possibilities in an unknown future? Off I go to read Book 3. I suggest you do too!

    7. "Spine Tingling"The search by the FBI, NSA, and the Vatican to locate Ripley and Gale is still pushing them forward trying to find a safe sanctuary. They are caught in a storm of deceit, corruption, and power. They still have to piece together Clastier's life and decipher the artifacts as to the link that brings them together. The one thing they know is the past will change the future for all humanity. This is a nerve wrenching story which I quickly read to the end but it's not the end hopeful [...]

    8. ‘Cosega Storm’, the second volume of Brandt Legg’s ‘Cosega Sequence’ Trilogy, plunges the reader into the action from the very first page as it takes up where the previous book left off. To describe the tale as fast-paced is not doing it justice; it races along like an express train as the protagonists seek to outrun a daunting number of powerful adversaries in their quest to explore the message within the ancient artefact they discovered. There’s a notable shift in this book, concent [...]

    9. COSEGA STORM features fast action, conveyed through dialogue in short, snappy chapters. It opens with “Automatic gunshots echoed off the canyon,” which forces the heroes into a narrow escape, both literally and figuratively: “The walls were so close together that Gale wasn’t sure they’d be able to turn around if it led to a dead end.”Ripley and Gale are constantly on the run, because “The things he’d discovered in the mountains of Virginia were so controversial and valuable that [...]

    10. Another Great Episode in the Sequence.Preceding this book in the Cosega Sequence is Cosega Search which brilliantly leads you into this novel, Cosega Storm book 2Mystery and magic and tragic melancholy all come together in this story, with Rip and Gale as partners in crime. The cost of the deaths due to the existence of the Eysen and the Odeon is astonishing. They still have half the world chasing them, the other half lying to them and most of them still wanting them dead. After a satisfying read [...]

    11. After reading the first book Cosega Search, I just had to get Book 2. The story continues and Rip Gaines and Gale Asher runs from the groups who are trying to take The Eysen, an ancient artifact, away from them. The conspiracy thickens as they discover more about how the Eysen works. The 2nd book gave more details as to why The Vatican is so concerned about the world learning about The Eysen. There's a prophecy involved.Rip doesn't know who to trust anymore, but he's determined to discover the t [...]

    12. What can I say? This is one thrilling series and Book Two is just a much of a page-turner as Book One. In Book Two, the chase continues with agents of the FBI, CIA and NSA, as well as Vatican assassins, hot on the trail of Rip and Gale who are trying to find the time to unravel the mystery and meaning of the Eysen. Their journey now takes them to Taos where Rip gathers information from several unlikely sources as he tries to understand the mystical forces that are swirling all around him.Needles [...]

    13. This second book in the Cosega series, Cosega Storm, opens with a bang—literally. Picking up where book 1 ended, bullets are flying and our hero is in a tight spot. Both the FBI and the Vatican are on his heels, and they’re not the only one! An exciting romp through the desert Southwest takes the reader into a story filled with esoteric secrets and ancient mysteries, action and suspense. That story zips along, at breakneck speed, as renowned archaeologist, Ripley Gaines tries to discover hid [...]

    14. “Cosega Storm” by Brandt Legg pcks up where “Cosega Search” left us, a cliff hanger moment in a breath-taking archaeological conspiracy thriller. Discovered artefacts that suspend established beliefs become the object of a hunt by press, government bodies and the Vatican. Our heroes continue their escape from these forces while trying to find out more about the artefacts and what they really mean. This wouldn’t be written by Legg if it didn’t have some deeper undertones and wonderful [...]

    15. The secret, not that it is a secret, of compelling narratives is to keep the reader on edge of their seat and make them want to read 'just one more page.' When they finally put the book down to take a breath, they can't wait to get back to it.Brandt Legg has that skill honed to a sharpness that bites and, in Cosega Storm, his hero Rip is pursued by all the evils of the planet as he plunges through the dark wilds of America to make sure a discovery by Ripley Gaines that will alter the course of t [...]

    16. I like this series and reading it has become something of a guilty pleasure. It is at times provocative, always interesting, and scratches that pop conspiracy itch (the same one that made me a fan of Dan Brown). It does have some weak points. Spending too long on back story for one. But overall, it moves at a good pace. If you don't like cliff hangers this series may be a bit challenging, but then most people claim to hate cliff hangers though it is a very common to find them in books, TV, and m [...]

    17. Book Two adds a Tony Hillerman aspect to the aforementioned "X-Files Meets Da Vinci Code" aspect of the story. From the side of the famous Taos Gorge down the raging river and deep into the mysterious recesses of the ancient churches of the Enchanted Circle all the while riding a rollercoaster of international intrigue & espionage, sci-fi & mysticism; all the while, the majestic landscapes, so artfully described by masterful mystery writer, Tony Hillerman, in his Leaphorn & Chee seri [...]

    18. Book 2 was full of dogged chases, lots of lives lost, and near-impossible escapes by Rip and Gail that seemed too good to be believable most of the time. At some point, things got muddled because you didn't know who the good or bad guys were but what kept this book interesting was the reason why the Vatican wanted Rip, Gail, and everyone who knew about Cosega dead and the mysterious device destroyed; it had me wondering what would really happen if religion was proved to be wrong about everything [...]

    19. An enigmatic scratch into the reader's soulCosega Storm (The Cosega Sequence Book 2) by Brandt LeggYet another superb novel and sequel, the "Cosega Storm (The Cosega Sequence Book 2)" from Legg. The pages of this well-written book flow very well and breathe an enigmatic scratch into the reader's soul throughout the story. Mystery, conflicts and secrets tease the outcome of future events through Gaines and Asher in this wide-spreading and reaching plot.A wonderful 5***** read!!!

    20. I have already mentioned other places that this guy writes for the intelligent among us, and I'm not wrong. He sucked me in with #1, and now I have finished #2. I'm not going to give anything away, but I will tell you this: I am sure that, if you're like me, you tend to think as you read, you'll find this is your cuppa entirely. Much is said, and it leads your mind in several directions. What if, what ifd it goes on and on! I'm about ready to sink into #3!!!!!

    21. Enjoyable follow up to book one. Unlike book one it actually had a finale, although, unless it was me missing something (always possible), there was a lot of running & the end came out of nowhere. It feels as if the end will result in a bit of a twist in book 3, & that things aren't as they seem. I've just bought book 3 to find out.

    22. What a good book!!!This was part si-fi , part thriller, a tiny romance, and all fun to read. I lost a lot of sleep because I couldn't stop reading it at night. But I am going to download the next one now. Mr. Legg is a very good writer! The Cosega series is well worth your time, sleep not notwithstanding.

    23. Now this is a good book. Very entertaining. Let me get to the bottomline: Pick up this book and read it. Good writing style, good plot, good character development. I bought these off amazon, not realizing I would buy the next book in the sequence. Now I have to put down the big bucks and buy the third book in this series. Can't wait.

    24. The mystery of knowing oneself,The second book moves at a fast pace, yet slows just e enough to start pulling together all the lose ends, the whose who , a friend to trust, starting book three in the morning

    25. I'm still really enjoying this series. In this installment, we get to learn a little bit more about the characters while they are on the run/trying to catch those on the run. I'm looking forward to the next one.

    26. This is more action packed than the first book in the series with a lot of chasing getting in the way of solving the intriguing archaeological mystery. A conspiracy thriller with philosophical undertones and interesting characters. Highly recommended

    27. Fastpaced with surprising twists. A great readFastpaced with surprising twists. A great followup to the first book. Hard to put down. Legg weaves a tail that is so believable it is scary. Refreshing plot, well written

    28. Great book!Oh man, they left a cliff hanger! Gaaaa a great book though. Very exciting and so so hard to put down, well written and even better than book one. If you read one you have to keep reading!

    29. Better and BetterThe only problem with this book is that it's fiction when it could easily be mistaken for a current headline. Be nice if the Eyson were real
