    1. Fourteen stories from a bunch of different people about race relations in America. I didn't find this to be a good way to communicate anything. Ironically, Jared Taylor himself says he is a statistical thinker and doesn't give much credence to anecdotes. He should take his own advice. As usual, these are probably believable stories, but aren't necessarily representative of the wider world (the opposite of "cherry picked"). I'm sure you could find hundreds of stories about good and bad people of a [...]

    2. This book was really hard to read, It brought up a lot of old feelings and anger I had not dealt with. I'm learning that racism doesn't see color, and people need to understand that just because your white or Asian or disabled or LGBT, if someone is treating you differently because of that fact ITS RACIST! The funny thing is, when I was in high school I was called a Barbie Doll, Slut, the black and Mexican girls used to gang up on me for even having black or Mexican guy friends - because "no whi [...]

    3. Fantastic collection of essays. The reality of racial relations in the contemporary U.S. Anyone whose lived outside the disney-like upper class white suburbs knows that racism is alive and well, if not downright flourishing in modern America. Still, even for us who have lived in minority áreas of inner cities, this book is still surprising. The amount of garbage that happens, unreported, but now, thankfully, not unnoticed, is astounding. As recent events including Ferguson and the Baltimore riot [...]

    4. IMHO this is a mean spirited book . it's not a matter of race at all. It's a matter of Culture or Upbringing. If you're brought up to be a victim, told that the world owes you a living, that all those successful people "done you wrong" then you will believe it. You will never amount to anything. You will never succeed at anything. You will never contribute to society but live your life as a dead weight, dragged along by others. In extreme cases you may even murder, shamelessly and without emotio [...]

    5. To be honest, I did not finish this book. I read the first report and several more of my choosing and that was good enough to know the point the author is trying to make through this book. I think the idea of this book compiled with testimonies is a great idea. Most of people are either in denial or in fear of knowing the truth. Now that the national problem/concern is exposed, what is the solution, or is there, I wonder.

    6. ExcellentThis set of short stories and essays depict what happens when ideology is placed ahead of reality and common sense. No one, black, white, male or female wins when this happens.

    7. Several slices of American life: the kind of anecdotes you can't believe are true, until you personally experience something similar.
