    About "Erin Hanson"

      • Erin Hanson

Erin Hanson Is a well-known author, some of his books are a fascination for readers like in the Reverie book, this is one of the most wanted Erin Hanson author readers around the world.

    1. 3.5 Stars. I first came across Erin Hanson's poetry on Pinterest. The very first poem I read by her was wonderful and so I decided to look her up and I came across a few more of her poems. Some of her poems are so wonderful, definitely amazing 5 star stuff but others are just kind of meh for me. A lot of the poems in this book were either a hit or a miss and there were more misses for me and so that's why I gave the book 3.5 stars. These poems are very personal and I could definitely relate to a [...]

    2. 5 STARSI must have read these out of order because I read The Poetic Underground #2 first - but I loved that one and I adored this one. I think I might've liked this one a tidbit more, if I'm honest (both are still 5 stars though). But again, the way Erin writes is gorgeous. Her poems are simply lovely, and I can only say that I am thrilled to have come across one of her poems online - because without that one poem, I would've never found her!Okay, but honestly, if you love poems please give her [...]

    3. I've never been much of a poetry fan until now. Erin's poems speak to me like no one else's have. She is an amazing young woman. I purchased her book in epub format and have purchased the hard copy. She understands the monsters and that there is nothing wrong with being yourself. Read her poetry and I guarantee you will find a piece of yourself in one of her poems.

    4. This series ( the poetic underground) softens my heart <3 You can literally see through the poet's eyes in every book. How dark the world was in her first book, and then she started finding bits and pieces of beauty , and oh my god how beautiful her soul turned out to be. It gives me so much hope, seeing how a black hole can close and turn into a magical garden. Her 2nd and 3rd books give me spurts of happiness in between the stressful lifestyle im having currently, her beautiful writing is e [...]

    5. Hi Erin,I ordered your book last night. Your poetry is written with the wisdom of a soul much older than your 19 years. If I believed in such things, I would think you had been here before. I can't wait to sit down over spring (hopefully by the sea) and continue reading your glorious poetry which is like a little beacon of light in the world. I love the way you see life. Never stop being you. -Katie :)

    6. Erin Hanson writes in a style that is both whimsical and soul-stirring. I'm not much into poetry, but I devour Hansons work. Several pieces were a little dark/morbid, but all of them are simple and raw and I related to much of it A very enjoyable and quick read that will stay with you.

    7. I will never not love Erin Hanson. These poems help me through the the hardest things in life. She wrote me a letter after my boyfriend contacted her and told her about what I was going through and I have never felt more blessed. Amazing books, amazing author.

    8. This was by first poetry ebook and I loved it! Some of my all time favorite poems are from Erin Hanson, but I’ve always just read them here and there online. Finally, I decided to download the first book and absolutely loved it. While the themes were a little bit repetitive, I didn’t mind because they were still so touching.

    9. I'm not usually a poetry kind of person but I really enjoyed this book and the author's style. Definitely going to check out her other poems!

    10. The thing about today is that there is always tomorrow, and if you can't find your smile, I have one you can borrow,___________If I could sing I'd sing you a song,With all the words I should have said,And I'd write it on the backs of the envelopes,Of all your letters I still haven't read,If I could sing you the story,Of how my eyes went to you in a crowd,I was too scared to say it out loud,But I know that I'm not good at singing,Because it was the one thing on which we agreed,So now all the word [...]

    11. This is one of those "I wouldn't normally have read this" books. I needed to read "a book by someone when under 25" (Read Harder 2015), and this, by a young Australian poet, Erin Hanson (21), was written a few years ago when she was a teend it shows. It's full of angst and unrequited love, and if that was all it was, I would have given it 2 stars. However, there are also small gems of potential that are 4 or even 5 stars. The first poem "The Storyteller" is one of those. It begins: "She has a bo [...]

    12. This is a beautiful book! I don't usually take the time to sit down and read poetry, but the way she writes is so simple and powerful that I could not put it down. The stories are so relatable, even if you've never been through the things they talk about the feelings are clear to understand. I would definitely recommending this to anyone who will read it.

    13. I am not someone who typically reads poetry, but I am not sorry that I read this. So much beauty. So much truth. So much love for this book.

    14. This is the first Erin Hanson book I have read. I had read a few of her peoms on Pinterest and was fascinated to buy this one. The book didnt disappoint at all. Infact, this was one of the best peotry written by a new age writer that I have read in recent times. She has this amazing ability to drive her point in simple yet very impactful words. I absolutely loved all the poems in this book however my favourite are 'The StoryTeller','Beauty','Arrow','Chance','Beautiful','Sweater','If I could sing [...]

    15. Absolutely breathtaking. I especially enjoyed the beginning section with the authors artful accounts of life and strong arguments against our dysfunctional society and the way it affects it's members. This book is like a wake up call (or validation to those who are already aware of the sickening situations we must often face). Though the middle section was considerably more dark, it too definitely has a powerful impact on the reader. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend this [...]

    16. I discovered this author through Pinterest, although these poems are slightly darker they are wonderful.I will definitely be purchasing more of her work.

    17. I found some of her poetry on Pinterest and fell in love with it right away. She puts the deepest feelings into the most beautiful words.

    18. Every page pierces through the heart but there will be ones that speak most to you. The poems are not only heartfelt but some will make you think and make you feel inspired. Two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻

    19. She is one of the bests. The rhyming gets repetitive at times just because I am reading one poem after another. But, they're all unique and beautiful nonetheless.

    20. This is the kind of poetry I will never forget. I've been waiting for a collection like this to come along and steal my 5 star rating!

    21. The poems towards the beginning were the strongest, I think - but still some super great poems in here. Angsty and exactly what I was looking for.

    22. This book was absolutely beautiful and I almost cried at some of these powerful, amazing poems. Erin Hanson is amazing at what she does and should never stop doing this. I would recommend that everyone read this book because it will change your view on so many things! Ahhhh I loved it

    23. Although I wish Reverie was longer, it's probably good that it wasn't - because I stopped everything I was doing when this book arrived and read the whole book. I only stopped for one thing during that time, and that was to read one of the poems out loud to my husband. If you enjoy poetry, this book is a must have. Typically I don't read much poetry, but when I read a few of Hanson's poems online, I had to buy the book. As soon as I get more money, I will be buying the other two books. Hanson ha [...]

    24. I loved so many of these poems! You could tell that the author wasn't super experienced, but they were filled with so much emotion and so much beauty. These poems are one of the many reasons I'm learning to love poetry. I think the poems also hold a great message. I got this book for Christmas, and I'm so glad that I have the book to keep looking back on and keep reading the poems when I need to hear from a voice that understands.

    26. Motivational Facebook statuses meet very basic rhyming. Sing-songy meter alternates with clunky, poorly-handled syllable count. I think people should be good at writing before they self-publish books, but not everyone agrees with me. I am also reminded of two definitions.1. TripeSomething, especially speech or writing, that is false or worthless; rubbish.2. TreacleSomething (as a tone of voice) heavily sweet and cloying.
