    1. ok. so this guy wins a bunch of money, then is attacked repeatedly by a variety of people trying to kill him. he fights them off, killing each one. repeat. repeat. repeat. repeat. the sheer monotony of the 'action' in this book does prove the title to be true, but makes it less than an enjoyable read. oh. spoiler alert: you know the book's over when he gets killed. don't bother getting to that point.

    2. The protagonist was witty and full of laugh-out-loud quips but this did not make up for the weak plot. I struggled to continue reading and after finishing realized not only was I no better off for reading, I actually wasted my time. Not recommended

    3. I had high hopes for this story; it's a good premise. There's this guy, Matthew Jester, and he's the luckiest man alive. He sues a bank for a hundred million pounds over some trivial matter and wins. Then his girlfriend ends up dead. The problem is, it could have been told much better. It's the writing, really, which isn't great. These are just a couple of issues I had with this book:First of all, while there's a lot of dialogue, I don't remember a single instance where anyone "said" anything. The [...]

    4. This is a gripping read. The luckiest man in the world who had grown up in foster care and then spent a few years homeless, began in his late teens an astonishing string of luck--lotteries, real estate and other investments, lush royalties from several autobiographies by the time he turned thirty-one. In the opening scene, he dreams of a fairy smoking Cuban cigars and his beautiful ex, waking up as she disappears; he complains with a typical wise-crack, "she didn't even stay for coffee."His curr [...]

    5. I'm going to start off by calling this a very unusual story that really grabbed my attention. It's a real page turner about a young man who strikes it rich with the lottery after living a poverty stricken life. His girlfriend encourages him to do something with his life, leading him to a life of action where he puts his life at risk multiple times. When his girlfriend ends up dead, he becomes the police's main interest, but he isn't the murderer. He escapes, thinking this is his best option to b [...]

    6. Matthew Jester is considered one of the luckiest men going. After a bad start in life, growing up in care and being homeless he strikes it lucky and wins the lottery and from there his luck changes. He becomes a multi millionaire and has a pop star girlfriend. But things all change when he decides to take one of the most powerful men to court and wins. He gets homw from court and finds his girlfriend dead. minutes later the police arrive to arrest him ans thats when his life completely changes. [...]

    7. Running Stupid by Morris Fenris and Ezra White is a great suspense thriller. It is all based on Matthew Jester's luck. After hitting the lottery big Jester's luck begins to sore. He starts winning everything and everything starts to go his way. Just like Drake's lyrics in "Started from the Bottom," Jester started from the bottom and then his luck turned for the best. He was known in the world as the luckiest guy. Then one day everything changed and that's where the story picks up. Fenris and Whi [...]

    8. May the luck be with you.Me & my suspension of disbelief really try hard to work with an author, but stumbling across 2 serial killers in a row? Unless his luck is omniscient & led him to those experiences on purpose to toughen him up?Have you ever tried to break one of those tiny bottles of alcohol they serve on airplanes, or in hotel mini bars? I'm thinking they are pretty nearly indestructible unless you use a hammer or gun or something. I'm not convinced I could throw one hard enough [...]

    9. I don’t know why, but I found that I had to drag myself to finish reading this book like it was a homework assignment. There’s nothing really wrong with Kipling’s writing, but I personally never connected with the main character or the story. I’m not a big fan of those movies (e.g. Bruce Willis & Sylvester Stallone flicks) where the hero is sadistically abused physically and psychologically for ninety minutes or so, until he exacts a gratifying revenge on his tormentors in the climax [...]

    10. Between spots of poor editing, grammar, and sentence structure there is a decent thriller novel here. Unfortunately, it is not very good. The characters make some very questionable decisions - and not in an exciting way. More like "that makes no sense" way. Also, the main character is just a guy - his exploits are ridiculously impossible which makes for a laughable series of events. I suppose that is sort of the point, but it does not work well.

    11. Unexpected ending. What a bizarre story. Great read, full of entertainment and never a dull moment. I really expected the story to end differently. Poor Matthew never saw it coming. A person's life can change in an instant, for Matthew hIs life changed many times but in ways that are totally not natural. I hope y o u enjoy this book. It's pretty good.

    12. There is some potential here, but the storyline gets both more ridiculous and less interesting as you read. The protagonist is as vile and unlikeable as the people chasing him, the editing is poor, and every new character is more depraved than the last. I read about 3/4 of it before I had to quit.

    13. RunRun, run there is nothing more stupid than the title, the story it self. It made no sense. Thank God it was free other wise it would be more than a waste of time but money as well

    14. I could not get into the book. After the first psycho, I just stopped reading. The author makes it hard to like or dislike the main character to me. I am glad it was a free book from and I did not waste any money on it.

    15. The premise was a little hard to swallow, but inventive. And an untrained guy able to take out paid professionals each and every time - not believable but still fun. It is a story after all. And I enjoyed some bits quite a lot, so it was certainly not time wasted.

    16. What do you do when the world turns against you, when you loose everything after gaining so much. When your life is now a game of cat and mouse. This poor fellow has the best luck turn south when his life is on the line will he just give in and die or will he fight to clear his name???

    17. This is honestly one of the most remarkable books I have ever read! WOW! That's all I can say! You must read this!

    18. Running stupidthis book was stupid. it would have been better if there was not so much bad language in it. most of the scenes where gross.

    19. I wanted to like this book, I really did. It wasn’t a bad read but it was not realistic and the ending was awkward and unsatisfying.

    20. Excellent! Non stop action. This should be a movie. Give this book a go!!! READ THIS BOOK! You'll be glad you did.

    21. It was wired bookit was really weird maybe you all should read it and see what you think about it. I gave it a five stars.

    22. RIvetingGreat imagination and writing but awkward conclusiont a satisfying read.Great story line until last page then the letdown;a great read until then,!

    23. At first the book started out a little slow however by mid book you couldn't put the book down. The author held you in suspense till the very end.

    24. A good readI really enjoyed reading this book. it had a little bit of everything, including some laughs. could not help rooting for the man and everything he did. my hero
