Okay, trying this again lost the bio I just spent 30 minutes writing So now it s just going to be incoherent rambling Yes, the earlier draft was also incoherent rambling, but way better I m the co author or author of about 160 books, including the ANIMORPHS series, the GONE series, the BZRK series, the MAGNIFICENT 12 series Mommy, make him stop saying series , the MESSENGER OF FEAR series, and soon well, eventually the SOLDIER GIRL series. The best way to reach me is at Twitter MichaelGrantBks I ll be honest I keep forgetting there s mail here Here s the thing I don t have an assistant or a staff I would, but then I d have to hire someone and train someone and give them stuff to do, and relate to them as a human being, possibly even care about them I m exhausted just thinking about it But if my handle is in the Tweet, I read it And once or twice a week I go on at random times to chat with fans I love my fans, but it s either be honest with you and be my actual self on Twitter, or fob you off on some assistant, and how would that be better I already have my father in law handling email from my ancient website I d rather be harder to write to but really be me, and really talk to you, if that makes sense Honestly, if it was up to me and I had the time we could all just hang out at random Starbucks Or if you re over 21, a pleasant cocktail lounge perhaps At some point there would be ice cream There must always, at some point in the day, be ice cream I also have a personal Facebook page at AuthorMichaelGrant, but that s limited to 5000 friends and apparently I actually have that many Who knew But I leave it public so if I have something to say I ll do it there I hope you ll give my books a try If you don t like one, that s cool, I don t like every book I read, either But maybe give them a try People seem to like them Now, my publishers want me to sell you on my stuff, so I ll do two brags 1 Everything I write is like nothing you ve ever read before in young adult literature I don t copy, I don t imitate, I don t clone 2 I know how to end a series And that s my advertisement Thank you.

    1. **No spoilers**Jeeeeeeeez that was a good book and an awesome conclusion. It was so gripping and action packed, it was literally difficult to put down. It gave me feels and so much happened that I was not expecting in the slightest! The stuff that happens is literally a really terrifying concept and I read most of the book with a look of horror on my face imagining if it actually happened. This entire trilogy has just been a massive surprise for me and I loved every creepy, gory, heart pounding m [...]

    3. Nicely done, MG. Nicely done. More appropriately titled "100 Methods to Kill". A satisfying conclusion to a thrilling sci-fi trilogy from one of my favourite young adult authors wherein no one is safe and humanity is scant.#stillmissinggoneReview to come in a few months' time - I mean, it's March now and this freaking comes out in October (in the US). I just couldn't fucking help myself! Well, May in the UK/AUS, so it's not THAT bad.

    4. "I'm not a serial killer, I'm just a writer."The amount of research gone into this is mind blowing. And Mr.Grant has a very vivid imagination. No, but really, the way death happens in this book is practically an art form. Keats or Plath was destined to die, it was the only realistic scenario. To be honest, I expected both to go mad, because the worst scenario is the most likely in this series. "Death or Madness" was stressed multiple times throughout. After the last book, when Plath started to in [...]

    5. Death or Madness That Actually Leads to A Somehow Even Gorier Death. That's the motto for Michael Grant's BZRK books - that's the stakes, and oh, does he carry it out ruthlessly. Let's get something straight. I didn't enjoy this book. Or the previous books. They're less a good read and more a more brutal version of the nanobots that take such a prominent place: morally twisted, absolutely disgusting, mind-warping little things that get inside your head and don't leave. I had a pretty low opinion [...]

    6. See more reviews on my blog. This book… It… Well… It was a good idea?I’m not really sure what to make of this book. It was…intense, but at the same time, it’s like it crossed a line somewhere. I really loved the idea of this book, of the tone it set for the whole series, really. It took everything I expected from the first two books and turned it on its side. Taking all that set up for “war,” for good vs evil, and then turning into that much pure chaos? Yeah, that went well with a [...]

    7. Originally posted All About BooksMichael Grant did it again. He wrote another perfect ending to an amazing series. This series consists of three action packed and thrilling books that I couldn’t get enough of. In this last one he wraps up all the strings and delivers an epic conclusion that’s just as good as the first two books.+ A mind-blowing story right from the very first pageMichael Grant goes right back to where he left off in the second book. No introduction, no looking back, right to [...]

    8. The biggest disappointment is that this was only a kind-of-okay trilogy. See, 'BZRK' as a whole is just too much Michael Grant. 'Gone' flirted with bleak hopelessness, featured broken characters, and made the reader loathe to keep reading, because it often got *so* disturbing. At the same time, 'Gone' also had a heart that shined in every one of the main cast, and ultimately kept the reader engaged. We came for the kids trapped in a dome and the fighting with mutant powers, but we stayed for Sam [...]

    9. Wow, I recall, in one ofMichael Grant's interviews he "admitted" that he had refrained from adding more vulgar language to the Gone series - because it was meant for the young adult fanbase. Well scrap that with this series, you guys know the scenes I'm taking about. He has the same addicting style of writing, telling from multiple points of view, leaving treacherous cliff hangers. I found that there were a lot of sub plots going on at the same time. At several points you need tor re-evaluate the [...]

    10. As a huge fan of Michael Grant and his works, I was ecstatic to be able to get my hands on his latest work in his thrilling BZRK series, BZRK: Apocalypse. If you are anything like me then Apocalypse will positively blow your mind. The characters are well-developed, the sceneries are always so extremely vivid that readers feel like they are right there along with the characters, and his plotlines are tremendously creative.A Michael Grant novel simply would not be a Michael Grant novel if it did n [...]

    11. Dnf. This book is a flaming wreck. All vestiges of a well plotted cohesive novel have disintegrated into a mess. The combination of too many POVs,villians(whose portrayal is undeniably ableist),and plain ridiculousness has far out-weighted the few good things left. The plot twists I'd already predicted, the suspension of disbelief required, and growing melodrama was too much. Despite my continued faith that Michael Grant is an evil genius this series despite a promising start just doesn't work.Than [...]

    12. This book was a little hard to follow at first, and some parts in the middle too, but Michael Grant has written this book so well that I was biting my nails every time there was a peak in the story before the denouement! Even though I'm reading the second one after the third (oops! :P) I'm pretty sure that it'll be just as great!

    13. The Matrix meets Inner Space in this third book in the BZRK trilogy from New York Times best-selling author Michael Grant. The staggering conclusion to the BZRK trilogy, from the author of GONE. The members of BZRK are preparing for their final stand. Noah and Sadie have seen death, and it holds no fear for them. Madness does, though. And losing each other. But they will not sit back, the only witnesses to an invisible apocalypse. The world is being destroyed from the inside out. It's time for [...]

    14. It's always refreshing, especially when reading YA, when the main characters have to question whether the organisation they are working for is "good". However, at the same time, Grant chose to make the bad guys absolutely unquestionably bad - would have been nice to have a more nuanced presentation of "good" vs "bad". Furthermore, I don't like how the bad guys were portrayed as bad. The writing concerning them was unnecessarily gruesome, and there was a reliance on mental illness (schizophrenia) [...]

Kurz danac [...]

    16. Honestly, not as good as the previous two books. I enjoyed the last books because the plot really didn't get so twisted. This book, the plot was really twisted. One chapter, there is a unimportant character, and then he just dies. I guess it just took me a lot longer to get tho right this book because I felt really disconnected from the characters I had grown to like. But that is how Michael Grant writes and I have really enjoyed the whole BZRK series.

    17. FUCK THIS WAS SO SO GOOD !!I must say, it was a lot better than the previous two because goreviolence madnessit was incredible. I needed a book that was just pure violence with little love and NO SENSITIVITY - and I finally found it!Michael Grant just had a way with words that makes everything so thrilling and tense and action packed. This sci-if trilogy was the best I have ever read, everything from plot to character development was perfect I love this book so incredibly much, wow

    18. Wowsers. what a book. The actual concept of these books is mindblowing and totally could happen!!Which is frightening to say the least. From start to finish is non stop.I have said that it's totally confusing but you soon get used to the tech and what 'wiring ' is and all the other stuff!!!!Great great book. And a fab but slightly sad conclusion.

    19. *4.5 stars* Pretty thrilling end to the BZRK trilogy! I was shocked and impressed by the plot twists, and the characters left standing in the end surprised me. MG you are a young adult legend, and I seriously look forward to indulging in your future works. Bravo!

    20. This was an awesome conclusion to an amazing trilogy. Get ready for explosions, sacrifices, horrific deaths, gun fights, death and/or madness! This series was one hell of a ride and with this last book, it has a good conclusion with awesome plot twists.

    21. i thought this book made the reality into a post-apocalyptic world where there were nanobots and robot even smaller than that.

    22. I don't know how to feel. Michael Grant is one of my favorites. Sadly I can't say the same for his BZRK series. It almost seems like he's trying too hard. Shame.

    23. I received BZRK: Apocalypse a few days ago as an ARC (Advanced Reader's Copy). Once I found out, I practically burst from excitement! I've been a fan of this series from the first day that the first BZRK book came out (link is to my review of the first in the series). Also, Michael Grant is one of my top-ten favorite authors of all time. I read the Gone series first, followed by BZRK, and then Magnificent 12 series. While all of Michael Grant's books so far have been spectacular, they greatly va [...]

    24. Michael Grant has, yet again, reduced me to a quivering sack of tears. Yup. Exactly that. After zooming through BZRK: Reloaded in less than ten hours, I couldn't wait to get my hands on BZRK: Apocalypse. I told myself that I would/should take my time with it since it's the last book in the trilogy (minus the prequel). Well, after getting started, I couldn't help myself. The book, for us Plath/Keats shippers, starts off in Heaven, something of which confused me despite making me squeal with joy. Di [...]

    25. I received an ARC from Netgalley for this reviewE PLOT:In the third installment of the BZRK series, things get weird(er). Everyone goes a little crazy and tries his/her hand at ending the world. This book is, in essence, a race to that ende end. The question is, who will be the one to actually bring on his own twisted version of the apocalypse. Meanwhile, of course, New York's BZRK cell, or at least the rag tag mod squad of what's left of the group will do what little they can to save us all. As [...]

    26. Now it’s always a hard reading a book in a series that you haven’t read in a while, but imagine reading the final book in the series when you don’t remember really anything. That was my first reaction to BZRK Apocalypse, but after a while I started to remember, but that just be because I have a friend reading the second book or that my brain is being wired to remember the plot for BZRK.Sorry, nanobot joke. BZRK tells the story of a secret agency called BZRK (see where the name comes from?) [...]
