    1. Muy recomendable, a mi gusto prefiero las ediciones antiguas de LP a las nuevas que vienen apareciendo desde hace 3 o 4 años

    2. I mainly purchased this guide because I didn't know what to expect. I was going to Maribor to participate in music festivals in July 2011. I speak several languages, but I can't even pretend to make a small conversation in Slovenian. The book is not huge and without too many colored pages, so it's not that heavy. So I carried it with me through Austria, Slovenia, and Italy. And then I abandoned the guide somewhere in Italy. Most people will only spend time in Ljubljana or Maribor. Slovenia has two [...]

    3. I visited Slovenia this summer and this book was invaluable in my trip. Having done the trip I can now say that I could have used this book even more than I did (which was quite extensively).Overall the guide does an excellent job of balancing interesting facts and background about the areas around Slovenia with useful traveler information about hotels, internet locations, laundry site, rail/bus schedules and prices. Although the guide was published in 2007, I found the prices to be accurate and [...]

    4. Well written and conceived. The brief history was helpful to help understand the people and the circumstances of the people today. The diet section was great. In describing the various geographic areas of the country I would have liked more pictures. The written explanations were great but never having been to the country, more pictures would have helped. I think it would be a great addition if there were internet video links to get a really good feel for the geography.

    5. I spent an entire summer in Ljubljana as an English speaker, and I used this book almost exclusively in preparing for my trip, and as a guidebook while I was there. This is the most informative and helpful guide to Slovenia that exists for English speakers. It is great for learning about history, culture, language basics, lodging, and transportation. The book is broken down into sections on regions and major cities. In a word it is priceless for anyone visiting Slovenia.

    6. Lots to do in this small country, very helpful to educate ones self before the big trip over there. On the euro, but on the boarder of western and eastern Europe.
