    1. Glenn is an amazing non-fiction writer and researcher, and it shows in his first novel, In the Teeth of the Gods. I love books that not only have a good story, but also teach me something about other people, other lands, or the world around me. This book did all of the above - the level of detail regarding the various ancient peoples in this story was incredible.
