      • Ola Wegner

Ola Wegner Is a well-known author, some of his books are a fascination for readers like in the Moonlighting book, this is one of the most wanted Ola Wegner author readers around the world.

    1. 3.5 starsThe story description gives the reader a very good idea of the premise. Darcy truly believes in fate as he meets and is drawn to Elizabeth. But he is bound by the laws of the werewolf pack in their union. In reading this story, I didn't feel the love. First of all, the author writes Elizabeth with blond hair and blue eyes while Georgiana has black hair. I was also not finding the "bedroom scenes" convincing in passion. Elizabeth is repulsed by a certain position and even one scene betwee [...]

    2. “This howling mouth, this head which rolls back and tries to escape.” Frederick LeboyerAs stated in other reviews… ‘I didn’t feel the love.’ I heard ODC [our dear couple] saying the words ‘I love you,’ but I didn’t feel the emotions behind it. There were many scenes that were well done; however, the journey getting to them was short, brusque, lifeless and bland. This author is known for the unusual wording that makes the reader stop and wonder what it was the author really mean [...]

    3. I think there are two ways of looking at this book - it is an escapist bit of silliness or a utter pile of P&P Porn.(view spoiler)[ Darcy is a werewolf (hide spoiler)]The petite Blonde (what?) Lizzy Bennet meets and eventually falls in love with the mysterious Fitzwilliam Darcy. Both her father and her sister Jane try to talk her out of the marriage but she is resolved. He takes her away to Pemberley which is not a beautiful garden estate but a creepy castle on the Scottish border. There the [...]

    4. I had looked @ this book several times and chose one book after another, wanting something a bit different I finally purchased it. I've read other books by Ms Wegner and have enjoyed them. Anyone who is a true JA pureist will probably not like this but if one open to a new Mr. Darcy I think you would enjoy reading it. Darcy once again wins Lizzy's heart but it is hinged on a secret and it takes them to a new home ,more than 50 miles of good road. Jane is not sweet andvery judgemental @ times. ** [...]

    5. Bymaryannon May 6, 2017Format: Kindle Edition|Verified PurchaseFirst of all, I am not into scary and spooky stories. I do enjoy the author's writing but somehow I kept putting this novel down and then going back to it. Once I start a book, I finish it because of wanting to see the outcome. There is definitely love there but Elizabeth suspected something all along and so did her sister Jane. I would say if a person is into the paranormal, then read this novel but for someone wanting romance or som [...]

    6. Unexpected interesting tale (spoilers)My first paranormal JAFF and it was interesting, to say the least. I liked the story, felt it was more complicated and angsty. I admit I had a hard time initially wrapping my head around Darcy being a werewolf, but it became easier.

    7. Okay storyad to read something other than vampires. Biggest issue with this is that Lizzy Bennet is not the same Lizzy from a physical appearance - in this she has light eyes and blonde hair. Not sure why. I also didn't like how he usually always refer to her as his mate, and not 'my love' or some other endearment. SPOILERS AHEADBut for the story itself it was okay - once she discovers the secret she's mad at Darcy which I enjoyed, I just wished she would've stayed mad and angry at him and he th [...]

    8. I very much enjoyed I this novel and the only reason I did not give it five stars was because I was not a huge fan of Mr. Darcy's characterization in this novel. While the original Darcy comes off as brooding and standoffish, this one was that and also very underhanded in the way he interacted with Elizabeth. His manner improved as the novel progressed but he was very hard to like for most of the novel until the last chapter or so.I understand that the point of this was that he had a huge secret [...]

    9. While at Netherfield, tending her sister Jane, Elizabeth encounters a large, black, yet friendly dog – well, he really looks more like a wolf than a dog. Elizabeth spends much time petting, playing with, and talking to this docile creature. He is very intelligent and seems to understand what she says. Although Elizabeth is delighted with her new friend she can't help but wonder: Where did he come from? What type of dog is he? To whom does he belong?Elizabeth soon learns that her canine friend [...]

    10. Three stars and a half, actuallyPride and Prejudice and Werewolves! *_*It has to be the best plot devise ever! I've read many P&P variations (maybe too many :P) and I never encountered a werewolf Mr. Darcy, so I must praise the authoress for her inventiveness. I considered giving the book four stars, but my mind protested too vehemently against the depiction of Elizabeth in the story, I can understand change some things about her (maybe) if it is functional to the story, but I couldn't find [...]

    11. 4.5 Stars I honestly did not expect much when I began reading Moonlighting, but was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it. I have never been completely happy with any of the Pride and Prejudice reimaginings involving supernatural beings, until now. This depiction of Mr. Darcy as the Alpha Male of a werewolf pack in the far north of England was not easy on my love for him; he was too stern and demanding. Under the circumstances though, it was perfectly understandable and actually fit. I [...]

    12. 4.5Meh it was a little weird, but I enjoyed it. I would definitely read a continuation. I really did like it, and I don't PARTICULARLY mind that it used P&P characters. It didn't have to though. Mostly it annoyed the hell out of me that Elizabeth has blonde hair and blue eyes. Just, no. Honestly though, if that is the worst thing about it, and it is, that's a pretty good story!! It could have used a little more fleshing out, but it is worth reading.
