    2. Better late than never. This is an awesome book that captures the human emotions at peak. The characters that was portrayed was brilliant enough to fall in love with it. 10. The narrator ends up at a house in a village by the Western Ghats and ends up staying there with a lonely elderly couple for a few days. There isn't much of a plot, so it doesn't really rush or meander towards any destination/denouement. The book is all about conversations between the narrator and the main characters there - Gopalaiah and his wife Shankaramma, their adopted son and daughter-in-law, a labourer Bhatya and another farmer Deranna. More than anything it's a chronicling of life and fa [...]
