    1. Once again, I'm kicking myself for not introducing myself to Jessica Redmerski's amazing Darkwoods Trilogy series sooner! Mayfair Moon blew me away and got me completely hooked on these amazing characters, I couldn't wait to start the next book. And Kindred just went full-throttle and turned an amazing supernatural story into an even more suspense-filled, heart-stopping, seeeeeeexy tale that gave me the chills at every turn! Adria takes center stage in this sequel in the Darkwoods Trilogy; her s [...]

    2. I enjoyed this installment more than the first one, this was really solid and I liked the mythology behind the werewolves. This one was also just as fast for me to get through, the pacing works really well with the story and I finished this one in a day.

    3. SighI think Isaac Mayfair just kicked and clawed his way to the top of the Book Boyfriend list. Sorry boyshope he didn't infect you along the way. It's been seven months since Adria was kidnapped by Vargas, the leader of Isaac's enemy pack, since the night she almost died, since the night her uncle was permanently mauled, since her life was forever changed. She didn't know it then, but now suspects while she was unconscious, Vargas forced an unwanted Blood Bond on her. Her physical and mental hea [...]

    4. This book was even better than the first in the series. It was so action packed, i couldnt put it down. Im glad I only have it in the kindle version because I wouldn't have been able to stop myself from slipping to the back to find out what was happening. Awesome read, fantastic book.Im a little sad there is only 1 more book to go - this series has a lot of potential

    5. The end ofThe Mayfair Moon left me want to read the sequel in a row. Actually, it kind of ruined my reading plan. In the other hand, I’m glad that I read it now, instead of last year when the book came out because I don’t have to wait for the sequel. Kindred opens with Adria feeling guilty keeping secrets to Isaac. It’s kind of consumes her and with all that happen to her made her emotion at bay. The worst is she knows what it’s all about. Yet she can’t tell Isaac because their relatio [...]

    6. HOT DAMN!! This series is just freaking too amazing!! Hands down my favourite werewolf series ever!! I'm bloody blown away, yet again and how brilliant of a storyteller J.A. Redmerski is. I mean she really had be gripping to the edge of my seat the whole time wanting to desperately read more and hating when I read the last line. I'm desperate for the next book in the series and I can't wait to read it. I loved The Mayfair Moon but I really am in love with Kindred. There was something more edgier [...]

    7. Very much loved the story. i was surprised at how fast I read it. Loved the humor and the suspense and the drama. Such a really great story. I can't wait to read the next book.

    8. As I sit here at my desk, pondering how to adequately describe my feelings for Kindred, a quote from one of my favorite Vampire Diaries characters comes to mind. “I think the term you’re searching for is O.M.G.” – Elijah. Yup. That pretty much sums up my thoughts into a cute little package. Warning: This review contains copious amounts of gushing due to the high level of awesome that Kindred embodies. We’re talking characters that feel like real life friends and family. Action that has [...]

    9. I loved Kindred even more than I did The Mayfair Moon. There was so much going on all at once I was almost left breathless with its pace. Kindred was like taking a ride on one of those crazy rollercoasters that almost has you throwing up at the end, but you enjoyed every minute of it. It went so fast and furious that I finished it in one sitting. I could not put it down. I don't think there was any part I didn't like. What made it so much better was the alternate PoV's between Adria and Isaac. I [...]

    10. Actual Rating: 4.5Okay, my mind is seriously blown! This is probably my favorite YA series about werewolves. It is so addicting!!! I never want to pull away from it. I wouldn't call it perfect, but it is SO CLOSE to being so.While The Mayfair Moon introduced the world the characters lived in, it seems to me that Kindred developed the characters and their relationships in the way that the former was lacking. I am so pleased with this fact. I finally felt connected to the characters and understood [...]

    11. The Mayfair Moon was awsome, but Kindred was far beyond awsome!!I loved Isaac and Adria in the first book, but in Kindred i love them much, much more. They are so sweet together, their love connection was so strong and deeper, i was swept away in all of their emotions and their secrets and why they were kipping them from each other, it was heartbreaking, but i understood them. Like Adria says at some point " Fear. It's just another form of death."Isaac was always so kind, so gentle, so much more [...]

    12. I gave the first book in the series only 3 stars, but this book definately deserved five. The first book set up the story and this book definately delivered. It almost felt like a different book, more mature. the characters had a lot more depth to them as did their relatinship to each other. Adria is getting more involved in the supernatural world and so are her friends. She begins to have dizzy turns where she blacks out for periods of time. She thinks she knows the reason why and is determined [...]

    13. Adria is having what doctors would call panic attacks. But what is really going on with her is the affect of Isaac's blood. As the book goes on from the 1st book they find that there is a lot of regret, pain, doubts, and other emotions clouding their minds. And when the Prevarians are there to help if not rescue them from the bad influences around them then they think that everything is ok. But everything is far from being ok. Adria goes to the doctor to see if it's anything human. And then they [...]

    14. WowI loved reading it enjoyed every minute.(Though i was on break from reading books :P)It was filled with so much twists and turns, adventure and action. was just AWESOME!And i was shocked and surprised when some secrets are revealed.(view spoiler)[Paverien/Bloodbond/Harry (hide spoiler)]So much has happened in this book it was difficult to keep tabs.d with so many revelations and new problems, new enemies, changes . just kept me on edge whole time.J.Ai sooo much love it effort ;)I can't wait for [...]

    15. Well to be honest i wanted to stop this book in the middle. Believe me I really had the urge!!! As I wanted to give this series a go i decided to go through with the book. It was frustrating but I held on and Voila the last 8 chapters became game changers. Not only did they manage to get me hooked but the introduction of such a twist was Wicked indeed!!!! Cant wait to start the next book and Damn right I wanna know the name of the TRAITOR!!!

    16. So I was thinking not quite a 5 star, but more than a 4--so 5 it is!I enjoyed this book more than Mayfair Moon. There were lots of secrets kept from each other, a little mysteriousness, and some sexiness. A few new characters were brought in and more than one surprise came in the end that has me excited for the release of the next book. Isaac was still delicious, and I even liked Adria in this one (I think she bothered me in the last book). Great werewolf series that I highly recommend!

    17. Well HELLO J.A. Redmerski! This is brilliant! I really enjoyed this book. Totally different, than what I thought it would be. Man, man-wolf, wolf. Holy moly! Adoring Issac and his family, loving the Mayfair's. And what a tough bean Adria is. Who wouldn't love Harry. All the secrets and twist and turns. definitely in the love pile :) Now I am just waiting a war.

    18. Wow, this book was so amazing and intense, my head is still spinning! It picks up 7 months after the events of The Mayfair Moon, and Adria and Isaac are a solid couple, doing regular couple things. But before that, there was a somewhat confusing prologue that begins to make sense over time.Ever since Adria's kidnapping in The Mayfair Moon, she has felt different. Not only have her wounds healed abnormally fast, but she has been having dizzy and fainting spells, and she assumes the worst. She obs [...]

    19. (3.5 stars) Before I begin my review I must say that I truly love the covers for these books. They are beautifully forboding. "Mayfair Moon," the first book in The Darkwoods Trilogy left me breathless. It was chocked full of action, great characters and a plot to die for. I breathlessly awaited "Kindred," the second book in the series and when it was released, I really enjoyed it.The story begins with Adria recalling a event three months prior where she is running through the fields in order to [...]

    20. Oh My God. This book was amazing, I don't even know where to start, I mean this book was just out of this world. I loved Mayfair Moon but this book is even better. From the first chapter of this book up until the very last page I was holding my breath. There were just so many questions. As Adria struggles with the Blood Bond that was unwillingly performed on her, or so she thinks, I struggled with her. I mean I felt like I was the one losing my mind and it just had me completely hooked. I really [...]

    21. readtomyhearts/20My Thoughts:Did you ever think you could pick up a book, read its words, these words that are so powerful, you can actually feel your heart breaking alongside the protagonists' and find it physically hard to breathe? WellI experienced this emotion firsthand with this book. J.A. Redmerski is a powerful author with this amazing talent to see the flaws in human nature (or even the supernatural) and still find the beauty within. First, with the characters. Adria, our female protagon [...]

    22. Always a good sign when I'm up until 1.30am on a work night to finish reading. There was no way I was putting it down until I finished. Of course, that only caused the primal scream of frustration when I remembered that book 3 isn't out yet. SIGH. I only have a few months to wait for the conclusion at least. Overall, I'm really enjoying this series. It does have a few parallels to Twilight, yes, but with a more real-to-life bent. Adria *is* afraid of Isaac, even though she loves him. And she isn [...]

    23. Adria has had a hard life dealing with domestic violence and alcoholism as well as trying to be a normal teenager. Then she moved to live with her Aunt and Uncle and got involved with Isaac Mayfair and the werewolves became part of her family. Her sister was turned and defected to the dark side and Adria knows that there is a war coming and Viktor is still out there somewhere. Through all the turmoil, Adria knows Isaac loves her and would do anything for her and she feels the same but they have [...]

    24. Holy Mother of Everything Awesome! I'm speechless!Okay, now that I'm over my speechlessness, allow me to express my true reaction to this book: SDFSIDHFSHDSDFS!!!!! Wow! If I thought Mayfair Moon was flawlessly amazing, Kindred doesn't even come close!Since we all know the characters, I'll spare you the drooling commentary and skip straight to the awesomness. Isaac has me effectively worshipping at his altar at this point. He's so sexy! With no douche bag factor whatsoever! And I love the other [...]

    25. Just when I think it couldn't get any better, Kindred is an awesome sequel! My Thoughts:1. The Mayfair Moon basically sets up the events leading into Kindred. Kindred answered all the questions I had from The Mayfair Moon and asks a whole lot more. 2. I LOVE Isaac and Adria's relationship much, much more in this book. They are so sweet together and their love connection grows stronger and deeper. They both are keeping a secret from each other and it's heartbreaking to read how much they love one [...]

    26. I feel like this series is the werewolf version of Twilight; a better written version, but of course that doesn't take much. After getting Mayfair Moon for free on Kindle, I decided to risk buying the second book in the series because there was just something about the series that I liked. Thankfully, it turned out to be worth it. I enjoyed this book for the most part. The plot was interesting and I enjoyed the introduction of a new race of supernatural creatures.I did find several faults in the [...]

    27. I absolutely loved the first book in this series, Mayfair Moon. This is the sequel and it makes Mayfair Moon look dull. OMG I adored this book! I am still left in awe of what an awesome book Kindred was.I love Adria and Isaac. Isaac is such a swoon worthy character and I am always rooting for him. I think Adria is such a human character. She tries to be strong, but fate sometimes has other plans. I felt for these two as the pages turned. The action in this book was amazing. I couldn't figure out [...]
