    1. Reading about Jericho Quinn reminds of when I first started reading the Jack Reacher (Lee Childs) books. I couldn't put them down. I gobbled them up like a handful of M&Ms, and loved every exciting moment of them. (some of the more recent ones haven't been quite up to standard, but the beginning of the series is truly amazing)This book picked up right where the first one left off. Our hero is trying to protect his family when he is attacked at home. Turns out there are now two groups after h [...]

    2. Finally a series that I am reading in order. Cameron continued the 0-60 mph journey by starting right at 60 on this one. The stories continues to evolve and Jericho has a great many demons that he has to work through making him relatable and believable. I find myself thinking there has to be a badass like him out in the world with the same every guy background. This is another quick pace story with all sorts of weapons and your usual assortment of villain's.

    3. I was fortunate enough to win this book from . I read Cameron's first book, National Security and I enjoyed it. Act of Terror was also enjoyable bur at times a little too much over the top. At certain points the timing was impossible in real life. Don't get me wrong I recommend this book to fans of the political thriller genre and I will be reading future novels from the author. With that said I wouldn't recommend this novel to introduce someone to the genre. for that you need to give someone a [...]

    4. Not a bad read. A little of Nelson DeMille's Charm School and a little borrowed from The Manchurian Candidate.Very fast paced and plenty of action. The first chapter or so is a continuation of Cameron's National Security but then moves almost seamlessly into the new plots and sub plots. Fans of Vince Flynn, Alex Berenson and other writers of political/military/CIA thrillers will enjoy this, I think.

    5. Jericho Quinn and I just don't get along. I've tried and restarted this book twice, but I just can't get into the plot or the characters. Like his first book, the theme is intriguing, but it gets lost in the minutiae of technical details, and flat characters. And, where is that plot going? No more Marc Cameron for me.

    6. The 2nd book of Jericho Quinn and his reluctant decision to fight terrorism. On one hand he has his family on the other hand, when they attack the family, the decision is easy to make. Some globe-trotting and deep, deep covert terrorists. This is another great read by Cameron. Can't wait to read the next one.

    7. Enjoyable quick read. If you like Vince Flynn will probably enjoy. Nothing original main character the best of the best, first wife can't handle things, world at risk, only Jericho Quinn and his compatriots can avert disaster. If you like this premise you will probably enjoy the book.

    8. Hang on for the RideCameron develops his main characters by weaving connections from the first Jericho Quinn book into his next book. Traveling the globe, Quinn is a super hero facing evil at every turn. A fun, fast paced thriller.

    9. Great ride. Some of the plotting is a little silly and there were a couple of factual errors about car horns and digital photo metadata that had only a minor effect on the plot. A fun quick read.

    10. A cruel book and scenario I think it was not made up but contained substantial truth as to how it really is in the mid eastern countries and hinterlands. They are barbarians.

    11. Great read, very suspenseful throughout. Jericho Quinn and Ronnie Garcia are becoming two of my favourite characters.

    12. All in audiobook format, this review references the first 3 books in the Jericho Quinn series. Two, National Security and Act of Terror, are narrated by Tom Weiner, State of Emergency by Luke Daniels. All are between 10-11 hours of listening, so in total, these three represent approximately 30 hours of the Jericho Quinn adventures.Jericho Quinn is a Mitch Rapp (Vince Flynn), Jason Bourne (Robert Ludlum), Jack Ryan (Tom Clancy) well, you get the idea. He’s the self deprecating good-guy-tough-gu [...]

    13. Cameron presents a great second novel, with as much interest and intrigue as the first. He permits the reader to delve more into the flow of the plot and leaves the personal lives of those key to the book's advancement on the back burner, save for where plot and character background intertwine out of necessity. Using multiple plot lines and characters that, eventually, do meld together, Cameron has the reader ready to guess what is set to happen on the following pages. At times a little predictab [...]

    14. The most frightening thing about this book is the fact that it could easily be true. Acts of terror are occurring everywhere: suicide bombers causing havoc across the country, stewardesses crashing a plane, policemen opening fire in a stadium. The list goes on and will until covert enemies in sleeper cells cause the demise of America. Special Agent Jericho Quinn’s mission is to stop it if he can. After his introduction in his first book, the author continues to refine this American hero, fight [...]

    15. After the cliffhanger at the end of National Security, I started reading Act of Terror straightaway. I thought the storyline from National Security might have played a bigger role in the story than it did (it was touched on quite briefly) but it seems that Marc Cameron knew what he was doing and delivered another heartstopping thriller which, whilst on the outside might seem a tad OTT, is actually scarily plausible when you stop and think about it which I think is one of the things I enjoy about [...]

    16. Selected this recently from a book box via Bookcrossing since I had not read this author before. The main character is Jericho Quinn and he is special agent that takes on challenges of all kinds. Currently, the United States is getting hit with random terrorist attacks that have really come from nowhere. The president enlists Quinn. along with another government agent Veronica "Ronnie" Garcia. There is allot of action going on in this book. Its pretty fast paced, which I enjoyed. I thought some t [...]

    17. From my blog onlectus/2012/07/There is not much to say about this book because three words suffice: It is great!Mystery thrillers have always appealed to me and I specially enjoyed this one because ever since 9/11 we've come more than a little paranoid seeing suspects every where. What fascinated me about this book? I used to think terrorist must have an accent. Brilliantly, Cameron thought differently.I would like to read more of this team: Quinn, Garcia, the guy with the French name, and even r [...]

    18. I got to about 15% of the book, and said to myself enough is enough. I hate it when an author is making a fool out of its readers. CIA woman, which is a simple “CIA security guard”, happened to be at a place where CIA traitor terrorists are shouting people in a restaurant (Yes it happens all over the USA). So she shoots them all. For that she suddenly being called to the president of the USA, and becomes his aid to fight terror. Come-on. Give me a break. It is so childish…Also what was it [...]

    19. Parents murder by terrorist dressed like America soldiers in front of their children then the children saved and raised by other terrorist and taken to a school where they learn English and hatred of all America's. Then taken to America and placed with good families waiting till the time is right to bring America down. This is the second in the Jericho Quinn series by Mark Cameron and like the first it is action action and more action. The author makes the characters so real and the story so fas [...]

    20. The second book by the author using Jericho Quinn. An interesting plot of raising children for the long term with a hatred of USA. The plot twist of jet pilot Doyle did not make any sense. As usual with many books of this type, there were holes in the plots that paused it has the suspense of disbelief. The recovery of the main characters of the book from injuries so severe in one day (which should have put them down for months, if not longer) to "save" the day was rather disingenuous. But as esc [...]

    21. Racing action. This is the first book by this author that I have read. It had an abundance of twists and turns, and a fair amount of wondering how each and every situation will resolve itself. Don't assume it will all be good. This author has no problem adding to the high body count. The writing was good, as was the development of the characters. Would recommend this book if you enjoy the genre, and are not opposed to some of the ugliness of terrorism and war. Compare to Gregg Olsens Jonathan Gra [...]

    22. I just finished the advance uncorrected proof of this book and was unable to put the book down once I started it. Once I finished it, I immediately gave it to my husband to read as thrillers are one of his favorite genres. I would recommend this book to my friends as I think they would find it hard to put down also. I hope to see Jericho Quinn as a character in other books by Marc Cameron. I will definitely be on the look out for further novels by this author. I love when I can add new authors t [...]

    23. This was my first Jericho Quinn book. Really wish I had been able to read the 1st Quinn book before this one but the library didn't have the first one at the time. Really enjoyed this book. Struggled to get into the first third of it because there was SO MUCH going on and so many different characters in different places it was hard to keep together. I think if I had read the first book it would have been easier since I would have known the regular players (Quinn, Palmer, Tibideux etc). This was [...]

    24. Act of Terror (Jerico Quinn series #2)Everyone expects terrorists in the middle east, but not fair skinned kids speaking perfect American English in the middle of Afghanistan, Nora complete school for moles to become homegrown terrorists in America. But Quinn and Garcia find themselves facing that and the terrorists face to face in the middle east and right here in DC. Thanks for another great read.

    25. I really enjoyed this second Quinn novel. Very strong character well supported with a band of sidekicks. I love the big Cajun character as well Both are gritty and very believable. The love interest in Ronnie I think will come in handy for many novels to come. Anyway, I say read this series I do believe this is going to be a keeper Can't wait for the next installment. 4.5 stars across the board. Give this author a shot, if your a fan of Flynn, Hagberg, Thor etc. this series is for you!

    26. Part of this was better than other parts. It seemed quite fragmented, but things rather came together in the end. Some characters are found in different parts of the world. Garroting seems to be a favorite choice of killing by some bad guys. Some of the torture is quite graphic--there should be warnings that the next chapter or whatever may not be for squeamish readers. Not all the violence is limited to men--some female characters are quite deadly.
