    1. What an absolutely delightful book! Part biography, part home manual, all enjoyable and informative. Marjorie Pearsall/Blackwell/Cooper/Bligh is a nonagenarian domestic goddess, accomplished authoress, and Tasmanian celebrity. Frankly, I'm amazed that Danielle Wood was able to cover her life and achievements in just 208 pages! Housewife Superstar is a biography of Majorie, peppered throughout with Marjorie's household tips and tricks and personal photographs. There's NOTHING that Marjorie can't [...]

    2. This book had a good review in The Age a while ago and I thought it sound like fun. It's part "biography", part handy hints guide of Marjorie Bligh who lives in Devonport Tasmania. It sounds like it is a wonderful story about the life of an "ordinary" person as I agree with the idea that we all have a story to tell going to get started tonight.

    3. This book was not what I thought it was and I am not sure why I continued reading it, because I didn't know who this person is. Also, she didn't' really have much of an interesting life. It was an easy and quick read, though.

    4. Meh, not for me. Some funny/interesting parts but I couldn't finish it. Maybe people who are into house making activities (cooking, decorating, etc.) would enjoy it more.

    5. Een boek over het opmerkelijke leven van de Australische Tante Kaat. De tips uit de boeken van là Marjorie waren er wat te veel aan, voor de rest ontspannende lectuur.
