    1. So . . . not sure quite how to review this one. I met the author and bought my copy at Phoenix Comicon in 2013. I read it in just a few days. It is really good . . . with some reservations. The story is enjoyable, and the plot is fairly crisp. The characters are interesting, and the world fascinating. My only complaint - and I hesitate to make it, but I must - is the vast number of spelling and grammatical errors and occasional awkward turns of phrase. This is more properly a complaint against t [...]


    2. I enjoy the full book. There were a couple spots and one in particular where the Point of view changed from a faceless observer telling me the events to where I felt there was some story teller involved. This was shocking enough it took me out of the story but late enough I was able to forgive it and finish the book which still makes me want to read the next one.


    3. Written by one of my colleagues. Really fun fantasy novel, lots of characters and multiple storylines. Probably easier to follow if you try to read quickly without taking long breaks. I had to keep going back each time I picked it up to keep my characters straight. By the end though, I was hooked!
