    1. An amazing ending to the three books. Everything was wrapped up perfectly and I don't think I've ever been more satisfied with a story coming to an end.

    2. These books were really good. It is hard to imagine living your whole life fighting for freedom. We don't have a clue what it was like in those days. Really good books!

    3. Nigel Tranter's books are well written and as accurate as he can make them. This brings the Bruce trilogy to a very satisfactory end - if you ever get that in Scottish history.
