    1. This is a brilliant well written and documented book on The layers of Norse Mythology from the original sources up to the Prose Edda. Fascinating look at what the Vikings would have actually believed and what layers were put on Norse myth by the Christian conversion. has made me want to go back and dig into the really early works like the Volupsa. Highly recommend and hope Abram writes more.
