    3. This was an incredibly moving book. It tells one man's story, but bears witness to countless stories of lives terrorised, brutalised and stolen in the years of the Pol Pot regime in Cambodia, and beyond. It was interesting seeing the Khmer poems laid out on the left page, the English rendering on the right page.
