    1. We hear the term OCD commonly used incorrectly. Many feel like it offers a bragging right of their wife being ready for an HGTV show or a compliment on cleanliness. This was an interesting read. Provided some insights on what obsessions and compulsions really are and provides a balanced view of how behavioral therapies can help a person. Much of this can also be found in religious and human therapy. My only refrain from giving this a five, is I personally enjoyed "The Man Who Couldn't Stop" and [...]


    2. I am currently in the OCD program at McLeans hospital and was recommended this book. I am currently doing ERP with the counselors but think this book will be very helpful when I leave and am doing exposures on my own. I know for me I wouldn't have been able to apply the techniques in this book on my own initially, but it probably depends on the severity of your ocd.


    3. One of my first non fiction Psych/Self-help book. Very informative and resourceful. Full and references too, not only for the person (OCD sufferer) but with people around them.Helpful.
