    1. This book has a simpler style and a slower rhythm than usual in Vonnegut (At least comparing it with others like Breakfast of Champions) It is a great satire that tells how humanity evolves to overcome the cause of all its problems (its oversized brain, of course) and has brilliant notes (the asterisks stand out among them) And, of course, it has the usual Vonnegut signatures (including the presence of Kilgore Trout) and includes fundamentals of human nature (As that no mater what happens, peopl [...]

    2. This is a short novel, and in many ways a typical Kurt Vonnegut story but has a maturity that is immediately noticeable, and an impressive breadth of subject matter; this being our world now and in a million years time. Full of Vonnegut's unique black humour, despite it's rather dark but important message it will have you smiling throughout, and laughing out loud from time to time. If you've never read Kurt Vonnegut you could start with this, and work back through his earlier novels. He has been [...]

"And so it goes."

    7. One of my all time favourite books, definitely recommend. The book has a powerful red cover which I immediately loved.
