    2. Before buying a book I read the short description and rarely am I disappointed in my choice - this is no exception

    3. I would have liked to give this novel a 2.5 star rating. I don't know how these types of romance novels get 4-5 stars! They are all the same. Redundant dialogue. Pity because I like the author's command of the English language. Writing skill is good. There are some redeeming moments, some humorous ones, but for the most part, just flat. Stereotypical of this particular genre. Only the names and titles of the characters change. So many of these historical romance series should be titled, "Taming [...]

    4. I read this book decades ago [this is the first book in Lairds' Fiancées series] and thought to revisit it once more but in audio.tb jg o Let me say this up front. My love of romance started with Jude Deveraux and Julie Garwood so I'm a huge fan. However, sometimes what has been written and read decades ago, can be quite different from reading it today. I'm so happy to report that this story was even better today than years ago. I loved everything about it, especially Rosalyn Landor. She made t [...]

    5. Oh my gosh! This was good! Fantabulous!!I'm not sure if this book was supposed to be a comedy but it was one of the funniest books I've read in a long time. It was thoroughly enjoyable. I was laughing for most of this book. This book had everything that I enjoy in a romance novel✔ Possessive alpha male✔ Bad Ass Heroine✔ Solid storyline with low angst✔ Funny as hellI loved Alec. He was a Scottish Laird who has married Jamie who is an English girl out of duty to his King. He really did not [...]
